Two different things often confused
ACTIVE TODAY
The audit trail
Every entry in the log carries the fingerprint of the previous one. The database rejects edits or deletions on closed records. If someone alters the database bypassing the application, the chain breaks and the check detects it.
It proves a document hasn’t been altered after being recorded.
NOT YET
Qualified signature
The patient’s signature today is an advanced electronic signature. A qualified electronic signature (the one the Civil Code equates to a handwritten signature) requires a certificate issued by an accredited provider: we don’t have one yet.
Until it exists, we won’t mention it anywhere. Not even here.
